Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing and delivery.
Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and full inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
Maintain an updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and constantly find ways to optimize the warehouse workflow.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, identifying any discrepancies or issues.
Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel to improve productivity and performance
Managing all the stock arrangement and storage according to FIFO within the warehouse.
Monitor warehouse activities to ensure that goods are stored correctly and safely and warehouse space is used efficiently.
Develop and recommend improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency and lower costs.
Manage the warehouse staff activities to ensure that the team's resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
To ensure proper working condition of work areas, grounds, forklifts, tools, fixtures, and equipment, arrange for repairs / replacement as needed.
Monitor stock levels in order to highlight minimum and excess levels and therefore prevent shortages.
Coordinate and prioritize daily work activities, including order picking, packing, and shipping, to meet customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
Communicate effectively with transporters to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Resolve any shipment issues promptly and efficiently in collaboration with transport partners.
Review the monthly shipping costs, be responsible for the accuracy of the data, and submit the basis for the settlement of the costs to the finance in a timely manner.
Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements
Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management , or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a warehouse management role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
