Handling complex medical negligence and personal injury claims arising therefrom, including undertaking full trial advocacy and resolutions of claims
Evaluating medical records, medico legal expert opinions and preparing legal opinions on liability and quantum
Drafting and research skills, including preparing pleadings, written submissions and appropriate strategy for defending claims
Managing full trials, interlocutory matters, and appeals at the Court of Appeal
Managing a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently
Client-handling skills, with sensitivity and professionalism
To assist Partners with any given tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience with a strong focus on medical negligence litigation.

Admission to practice law in the High Court of Malaya.

Strong leadership qualities and ability to mentor junior legal staff.

High level of professional integrity, discretion, and judgment.

Client-handling skills, with sensitivity and professionalism in dealing with distressed or vulnerable clients.
