Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Sales Surveillance team. In this role, you will help strengthen compliance frameworks, monitor sales quality, and ensure sales advisory practices meet both regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct documentation reviews, client surveys, and validations to uphold sales advisory standards.
  • Execute and assess Replacement of Policy (ROP) appeals, including distribution oversight and client call-backs.
  • Review Mystery Shopping findings, perform trend analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor customer call-backs to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Track completion of compliance requirements such as coaching, training, and fieldwork.
  • Provide training and guidance to sales leaders and agency teams on compliance and sales quality standards.
  • Support ad-hoc compliance reviews, projects, and investigations.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in compliance, monitoring, or risk management within financial services / insurance.
  • Good understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., MAS, FAA, LIA, CPF).
  • Insurance-related certifications (FLMI, CMFAS M5, 9, 9A, HI) are an advantage.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
