We're looking for a Xero Accountant on behalf of a Sydney-based client that provides professional business services, helping clients achieve growth through financial expertise and strategic advisory. This role involves working with larger clients, complex business structures, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering accounting, tax, and advisory services while also supporting junior team members.
- Salary range : RM 6,000–RM 8,000 / month (based on skills & experience)
- The role requires on-site presence initially.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Services
Manage and maintain clients' financial records using Xero accounting software.Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and other financial documents to ensure accuracy.Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and best practices.Collaborate closely with clients to resolve financial matters and support their business growth.2. Team Leadership and Development
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and knowledge sharing.Support team members by sharing insights on Xero features and accounting standards.Contribute to improving workflows and client servicing through internal discussions and teamwork.3. Firm Support and Development
Stay updated on developments in Xero software and accounting regulations.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and value through automation and best practices.Deliver high-quality work to uphold the firm's standards and contribute to its growth.Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA qualification preferred.Proven experience working with Xero accounting software.Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a client servicing role.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction.Additional benefits include :
