Asas Jati Enterprise is seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Jitra, Kedah. As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, planning, and implementation of a variety of infrastructure projects, contributing to the growth and success of our organisation. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on challenging and rewarding projects within the civil and structural engineering industry.

What you’ll be doing

Conducting site assessments and surveys to gather data and information necessary for project planning and design
Designing and developing civil engineering plans, specifications, and drawings for various infrastructure projects
Overseeing the construction and implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and construction crews, to ensure seamless project delivery
Performing structural analyses and calculations to ensure the safety and integrity of engineering designs
Monitoring and inspecting construction sites to identify and resolve any issues or concerns
Preparing detailed reports and documentation related to project progress, costs, and compliance

What we’re looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience in civil engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, regulations, and industry best practices

Proficiency in using engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis tools

Excellent problem-solving and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to think strategically

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Familiarity with construction management and project management methodologies

Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or a relevant professional certification is preferred
