• Job Location :
• Krubong, Melaka, MalaysiaThis position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.
• What you will be doing :
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient operations.
• Enhance systems, processes, and best practices.
• Manage day-to-day operations, overseeing the operations team and department.
• Ensure organizational processes comply with legal regulations and standards.
• Uphold health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance.
• Monitors employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.
• Handle / Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organizational objectives.
• Implement quality assurance measures for products / services and monitor production KPIs.
• Analyze data to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings.
• Manage supply chain processes, including inventory, production, sales, and sourcing.
• Optimize workflows and processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality products.
• Oversee staffing plans, recruitment, and training.
• Report on operational efficiency and quality standards.
• Foster innovation and productivity through effective communication.
• What you will bring along :
• Educational Background : A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Industry Experience : At least 10 years of firsthand experience in the IC / semiconductor sector, with a proven record of success.
• Leadership & People Management : Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively, fostering a culture of productivity and collaboration.
• Operational Expertise and Excellence : Comprehensive knowledge of inventory control, maintenance strategies, and quality management principles to ensure operational efficiency.
• Strategic Thinking & Problem-Solving : A forward-thinking approach to business challenges, coupled with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Communication & Customer Engagement : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong customer relationships and drive service excellence.
• Project Management Proficiency : Skilled in project planning, execution, and monitoring, utilizing industry-standard methodologies to achieve organizational goals.
