About the role
Southern Cable Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Clerk to join our team in Kuala Ketil Kedah. This contract position is responsible for supporting the procurement function and ensuring the efficient and timely purchase of materials and supplies required for our manufacturing operations.
What you'll be doing
- Processing purchase orders and monitoring order fulfilment
- Liaising with suppliers to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and other contract terms
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying replenishment needs
- Assisting with supplier evaluation, selection and performance management
- Providing administrative support to the procurement team as needed
