Finance Analyst / Senior Finance Analyst

Job Description

The Finance Analyst / Senior Finance Analyst will work together with the ASEAN Finance Team and Asia Shared Service Centre (SSC) to support the business by managing the day-to-day finance operations, delivering insightful timely analysis and other financial planning needs.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsible for submission of timely, accurate and commercially focused Budget, Forecast and 3 Year Planning, in line with agreed templates and timetables.
• Identify and timely report risks and opportunities for the business.
• Update commentary highlights concisely, anticipating potential questions and address them in advance with supporting analysis as appropriate.
• Provide Business Partner support to event team.
• Monthly P&L actual review and working with SSC for month end. This will include : Ensure revenue and costs are recorded correctly, and intercompany billings are performed.Compliance in accordance with Group guidelines and timely release of accruals, if necessary financial / management reports from appropriate systems for review and analysis purpose.
• Intercompany review incl. agreements, invoicing, resolving mismatches and cash settlements.
• Review balance sheet and work with SSC to ensure balances are substantiated and preparation of cashflow.
• Handle local statutory compliance matters such as corporate secretarial, audit, and taxation.
• Ad hoc queries / requests from various stakeholders.
