Overview

We are seeking knowledgeable and experienced Linux Engineers to join our growing team. This position will be fully responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the infrastructure; and also to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Linux with solid understanding of its deployment in a virtualized environment.

Responsibilities

Perform system monitoring, tuning, and optimization for performance and stability.
Demonstrate knowledge of essential network services such as DNS, NFS, LDAP / Kerberos, Apache, NTP, OpenSSH.
Automate deployments using tools such as Nginx, PHP, MySQL, Redis, OpenStack.
Understand various security standards, protocols and implement details to ensure seamless application operation.
Manage in-house developed applications that run on the Linux systems.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to server performance, diagnose and resolve OS and application issues.
Deploy, configure and maintain Linux servers and related infrastructure.
Manage system backups and recovery.
Perform system upgrades following new releases.

Job Requirements

Proven work experience of at least one (1) year as a Linux Engineer or similar role in IT.

Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub, AWS, Alicloud, Google Cloud, etc.

Solid understanding of monitoring tools and ability to define metrics and detect anomalies.

Knowledgeable in server automation systems, and Multi-Cloud Computing.

Experience in building tools to automate system maintenance tasks.

Self-motivation and passion for trying emerging technologies.

Self-discipline for completing tasks in a timely manner.

Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
