Job Overview

The Senior Technician is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise, performing complex installations, repairs, and maintenance while serving as a technical leader and mentor to junior team members. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of systems, equipment, and procedures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on specialized equipment and systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues using advanced troubleshooting methodologies and testing equipment
• Develop and implement technical procedures, work instructions, and best practices
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges
• Document technical activities, maintenance records, and operational procedures
• Conduct quality assurance checks on completed work
• Respond to emergency service requests and participate in on-call rotation as needed
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and operational efficiencies
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies while forecasting future needs
• Stay current with evolving technology and industry standards through ongoing education
