Overview

Trainee Teacher - Early Childhood (Penang island) at Math Monkey MathBrain Centre in Tanjung Tokong, Penang. This full-time hybrid position trains you to shape young learners through the MathBrain education program and provides an opportunity to build a rewarding career in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating Play to Learn Math lessons for children aged 4 to 12 years old
  • Supporting the implementation of the MathBrain curriculum and BrainThink learning strategies
  • Fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that develops children's 5 Brain Abilities
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to plan and organise classroom activities and events
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student progress and development
  • Attending regular training and professional development sessions to continuously enhance teaching skills

Qualifications

  • A passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to helping children succeed
  • No relevant educational qualifications required as the role offers training from beginner's level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues
  • A creative and innovative mindset to develop engaging and interactive Play to Learn math lessons
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to manage classroom responsibilities effectively
