Overview

Private Tutor / Teacher at Johan Speaking Academy – Rawang Branch. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate private tutor / teacher to join our Johan Speaking Academy team at our Rawang branch.

Location : Johan Speaking Academy, Rawang (Anggun city)

Target Students : Kids aged 5–17

Focus : Public Speaking, Communication Skills, Confidence Building

Availability : Weekends Only (Full time / Part time)

Responsibilities

  • Teaching & Class Management : Conduct public speaking classes for children aged 5–17 in a fun, engaging, and interactive way. Follow the Johan Speaking Academy syllabus and training modules. Prepare for each class session by reviewing materials, props, or activities needed. Manage and motivate students to participate actively and confidently.
  • Coaching & Performance Preparation : Guide students in preparing speeches, storytelling, and on-stage performances. Provide feedback and coaching to help them improve their voice, expression, posture, and confidence. Help students prepare for internal presentations, competitions, or showcase events.
  • Student Progress & Reporting : Monitor and record each student’s progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Provide constructive feedback to students and updates to parents if necessary.
  • Communication & Teamwork : Coordinate with the branch principal and other team members. Attend briefings or training sessions to stay aligned with academy goals. Communicate promptly regarding scheduling or class updates.
  • Support & Growth : Assist with trial classes, free previews, or academy events when needed. Suggest ideas to improve lessons, classroom activities, or student engagement. Continue learning and improving teaching skills through feedback and training.

Requirements

  • Passionate about teaching children
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Experience in teaching or public speaking is an added advantage
  • SPM / Diploma or equivalent with good speaking skill and qualities
  • Language Required : English
  • Nationality Preferred : Malaysians Only

    • Salary & Benefits

    RM 1,700 to RM 2,200 per month

    Other Benefit (Optional) : FULL TIME - EPF and Socso; Working days (weekends only); PART TIME - Flexible hours; Weekend classes; Paid on hourly basis
