SAP Basis Consultant - Penang

People Profilers is hiring on behalf of a leading global consulting firm for experienced SAP Basis Consultant , based in Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration tasks such as system installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, restore, refresh, transport management, user administration, authorization, and security.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and reliability of SAP systems, including database, application server, and network components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and incidents related to SAP systems, including root cause analysis, problem resolution, and documentation.
• Apply patches, upgrades, and enhancements to SAP systems as per the project and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, standards, and guidelines for SAP Basis administration.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT teams, business users, and external vendors on SAP related matters.
