Overview

Lead in the modernization and innovation of legacy banking applications by designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions aligned with Biz goals under Biz Innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform core banking systems and integrate new digital capabilities, ensuring seamless migration towards next-generation platforms. Responsibilities

Architect and develop enhancements to legacy banking systems, focusing on modular, scalable, and cloud-compatible solutions. Drive innovation by evaluating and implementing new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve product offerings and operational efficiency. Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and user stories. Lead the development of mission-critical banking services, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with financial regulations. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to maintain quality and reliability. Work within agile teams to deliver features rapidly while managing technical debt and legacy constraints. Integrate legacy systems with new cloud-native services and APIs to enable digital transformation. Required Skills and Experience

Extensive experience in software development within the banking or financial services sector, especially with legacy core banking systems. Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Full Stack NodeJS, Java, Oracle PL / SQL, and experience with microservices architecture. Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Solid understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in banking software. Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, and automated testing. Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor team members. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Seniority level
