Job description

Requirements

  • SPM / Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Prior experience in customer service or retail sales is an advantage.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, politely, and effectively with customers.
  • Customer-Oriented Attitude
  • Friendly, approachable, and passionate about delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations calmly and professionally.
  • Basic knowledge of sales techniques and the ability to upsell or cross-sell products.
  • Goal-driven and able to meet sales targets.
  • Technical & Product Knowledge
  • Willingness to learn and understand product features, uses, and benefits.
  • Basic computer skills (POS systems, Microsoft Office, etc.)
  • Teamwork & Flexibility
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and in shifts, depending on store hours.
  • Neat and professional appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Sales Support
  • Recommend and upsell products / services based on customer needs.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and services to assist customers effectively.
  • Keep up-to-date with new arrivals and changes in product range.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock.
  • Ensure shelves are stocked and displays are neat and appealing.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims according to company policy.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
  • Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • Assist in visual merchandising and promotional displays.
  • Work closely with team members and management to achieve sales goals and maintain high service standards.
