Make an impact
- Manage the global network security infrastructure (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewall, Proxy, Load balancing and other networking components).
- Monitor and maintain the global network security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Plan and execute upgrades and updates to keep systems up to date and secure.
- Implement network security measures to protect data and systems.
- Automate recurring tasks in the area of the Network Security team.
- Maintain documentation of the network security infrastructure.
- Process incoming service requests and incidents as part of the daily operation.
- Stay updated with the latest network security technologies and best practices.
What you need to succeed
At least 2 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.Relevant Network certifications or equivalent experience (e.g. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)).Good knowledge of network, communication and security protocol, technologies, and standards (including TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs and VPNs).Experience with corporate network environments including outing and switching (Cisco / Cloud), wireless (Cisco), security (Zscaler / Checkpoint / Fortinet), monitoring (CheckMK), documentation (Netbox / AzureDevOps).Knowledge of scripting and automation is a clear plus (eg, Python, Ansible).Understanding of cloud networking is a clear plus (eg, AWS, Azure).Good written and verbal communication in English.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure, effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Swisslog provides you with the possibility to grow while working with us to deliver a game changing mission : to shape the future of intralogistics by introducing an era of robotic and data-driven automated solutions that create exceptional customer value.
