Overview

EY is looking for a Manager / Senior Manager for Technology Consulting to lead client engagements in the areas of information management and business intelligence; IT strategy, architecture and solution design (including package solutions); IT operational effectiveness and business case development; program and project management; and IT architecture. The role focuses on helping clients realise value from IT investments through strategy, transformation and enterprise-wide initiatives, with a cross-border and cross-functional scope.

Responsibilities

Lead the team on client engagements to improve a broad range of business processes, adapting proven IT methods to fit different operational and cultural contexts.
Assess and transform enterprise technology architecture; serve as architecture lead on large-scale IT transformation programs across applications, integration, data, security, operations and development.
Lead technology-related transformation programs (e.g., Core Banking, Mobile Banking) across the enterprise, collaborating with Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Advisory to deliver high-value, enterprise-wide transformation services.
Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge; assimilate new knowledge and stay current on advisory capabilities; develop and maintain client relationships and networks across EY practices.
Collaborate with client leadership and EY teams to facilitate decision-making and align IT with business strategy to deliver greater value.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce or accounting, finance, computer science, science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

Approximately 5 years of relevant work experience in technology initiatives management or implementation, preferably in a business consulting role with a leading management consultancy.

Good functional knowledge of Target Operating Model for banks; ability to translate complex client requirements into an architecture understandable by clients at all seniority levels.

Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to work under pressure and to lead teams.

Understanding of application and integration architectures, with breadth across remaining architectural views.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.

Functional knowledge of IT Target Operating Model and ERP tools (e.g., SAP or Oracle).

Experience with emerging technologies such as Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, Mobility, Analytics, and Digital; knowledge of Agile Scrum, PMP, TOGAF or ITIL certifications.
