Bilingual Medical Interpreter (Hakka Chin / English)
I-Call International is looking to hire more Hakka Chin Interpreters to work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other information between Hakka Chin‑speaking patients and healthcare providers.
- Provide cultural mediation services to help patients understand the healthcare system and navigate it effectively.
- Help healthcare providers understand cultural differences that may affect patient care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
- Document interpretation services provided, including date, time, duration, and type.
- Stay current with medical terminology and healthcare practices.
Qualifications
Fluency in Hakka Chin and English.Experience in interpretation or translation.Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with the healthcare system.Good communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to work well under pressure.Technical Requirements
Good internet (at least 15 Mbps download and upload).PC with a core i7, 6th gen or higher, minimum 8 GB RAM.USB wired headset with noise cancellation (e.g., Logitech H390).LAN (Ethernet) connection with cable.HD webcam.Professional working space.Timings & Compensation
