We are growing and we’re looking for talents to come onboard our Group Finance team as an Accounts Receivables Specialist based in Singapore
Mission
- Handle end to end sales invoicing, accounts receivables and collection cycle of the Company
- Improve current invoicing process through reduction in invoicing timeline, through automation and process improvement
- Improve current DSO / aged receivables ageing
Responsibilities
Prepare, verify and process invoices for sales or services renderedCollect on accounts by sending invoice reminders and communications with customers via phone, email, fax or mailPost customer payments by recording cash, checks, bank transfer and entering them into accounting software (XERO)Perform account receivables reconciliations to ensure all sales and payments are accounted for and properly postedOwn and play an active role to monitor AR ageing movement and maintain close relationship with internal Sales Department and external customer to ensure aged customers are being followed up closely (ensuring payment is received timely)Develop best practice processes to ensure invoice billing is done on a timely manner and Company’s AR ageing is at less than 15 days post due dateInteract and work closely with sales operations team and customer to improve billing and collection cycleDevelop appropriate monitoring tool to achieve the above outcomeMaintaining account receivables file and recordsProduce monthly financial and management reportWork with superior to develop credit policy in accordance with IFRS 109Investigation and resolving any irregularities or enquiriesAssisting in general management, analysis or any other accounting function as and when required by supervisorMin 3 years of experience in general accounting, including 2 years in Accounts Receivables / Revenue Management functionA diploma / degree in accounting / finance / economicsKnowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirementsProficiency in MS office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programsA keen ability to prioritize, an eye for detail (meticulous), ability to work independently, ability to communicate and articulate efficiently with external party and other team members in the organizationBe a positive team playerEngage constructively, disagree and commitBe HumbleDemonstrate AccountabilityExercise Good JudgementTake charge of your professional growthSeniority level
