Job Description

  • Managing a team of 5 controllers based in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore
  • In charge of budget and cost control , monthly closing and reporting of the entities in South East

Asia ( 6 countries) in a timely manner

  • Finance partner of the CEO of South- East Asia and of country directors
  • Dealing with different activities : projects,services, engineering platform
  • Financial checks of new partners, support to the preparation of offers for finance and tax topics
  • Accounting is out of scope , performed by an internal accounting shared service centre
  • Business partner, strong and essential interactions with operations
  • Reports hierarchically to the CFO of the region Asia Pacific and functionally to the CEO of South-

    Qualifications

    Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships
  • excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Natural leadership
  • Experimented in management of teams
  • Analytical approach to work, accurate and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Methodic, able to produce relevant KPIs, to work closely with operations managers
  • Business awareness
  • Sensibilized to compliance and internal control requirements
  • Sound technical skills, at ease with IFRS rules , project accounting, engineering activities
  • Strongly motivated by business understanding , business support & international environment
  • Concerned by environment challenges, H&S and CSR topics.

    • Experience

  • Minimum 12 years of working experience , preferably in engineering or construction companies
  • Accounting
  • Budget and cost control
  • Team management
  • international experience -ability to deal with different countries / cultures / taxes ..
  • Experience in large ERP (SAP / JDE or equivalent)
  • Office pack, Google suite
