We are representing a well known leading pastries and bakeries based in Ipoh Perak. Currently with 14 bakeries outlet in Perak, along with 2 hype and buzzing pastries cafes in Selangor.
Responsibilities :
- Uphold top-tier quality and consistency across all pastry and bakery products.
- Innovate and refine recipes, ensuring an authentic yet contemporary product offering.
- Oversee quality control processes to maintain high standards in taste, texture, and presentation.
- Manage inventory of baking ingredients to ensure freshness and availability.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior bakers, cultivating a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with product development and management teams to launch new and seasonal creations in line with market trends.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety protocols, ensuring a clean and professional workspace.
Requirements :
3 to 5 years of relevant pastry or bakery experience.A culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts, bakery, or related fields.Proven expertise as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef, specializing in bakery innovation.Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire a team.Deep knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient properties, and recipe creation.A creative and innovative mindset, with a passion for exploring flavors, textures, and presentations.Familiarity with food regulations, labeling, and industry best practices, particularly in bakery R&D.High attention to detail, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and quality standardsLocation : Based at Kajang Bangi Cafe
Working Hours : 4am - 1pm / 6 days. Off day on weekday
