Grow inhouse and field service revenue, using all available service resources (STC, direct, field service and 3rd parties where applicable)
Support distribution network in the region to grow indirect service sales as well as provide technical support where required.
Ensure the retention and support of existing business with a focus on growth in terms of margin, contract term & / or coverage
Support New Product Sales in support of major bids where service profile is key to wining of the business and to maintain the reputation of the of VTS Service Business
Develop market intelligence to better understanding of customer needs and trends.
Report on Competitor OEM and 3rd Party Service Activity
Provide timely reports on Service Sales performance and maintain an updated customer contacts and machine population.
To effectively manage the account receivables & overdue to protect working capital
Develope partnerships with equipment sales team & service operations team to improve the productivity by offering total solution to the customer
Provide product training, installation and commission support in conjunction with service operations team
Develop 3rd party service providers in regions where VTS do not have local competence either with direct service support or distribution channels.
Support and foster One Team spirit of teamwork, open communication, fairness and respect for all individuals within the organization
Safeguard integrity and transparency of operations and of the legal structure by making sure that our Business Code of Practice is understood and applied where relevant.
What It Takes
Minimum 5 Years of working within Service Business + experience of selling or supporting commercial proposals or 3 Years of selling equipment service direct.
Recognised mechanical / electronics trade or similar preferred
Experience with VT branded equipment highly advantageous
Regional experience in SEA will be an advantage.
Good understanding of vacuum applications
