Supplier Quality Engineer 4 - Machining

Overview

Lam Research is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (Machining / Fabrication) to join the Global Operations Group. The role focuses on ensuring suppliers\' manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining supplier quality assurance programs at supplier locations. You will analyze production data, identify trends, and collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical, quality, and production challenges to support Lam\'s commitment to high-quality and reliable products.

What You’ll Do

• Group SET (Supplier Engineering and Technology) is a global organization that innovates in manufacturing technology, materials technology, and supply chain quality for next-generation semiconductor process equipment.
• Perform supplier development, program / project management, and cross-functional team alignment for key initiatives in SET.
• Develop suppliers to meet Lam quality standards.
• Manage project transition and qualification, resource planning, and lead technical discussions.
• Support the transition of products from prototype to full-scale production.
• Interface with key Lam teams including technical product groups, account teams and global operations as a representative of SET.
• Influence decisions and company objectives within internal and external groups to achieve goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Organize and own internal and external Review Meetings.
