System Engineer (Cloud)

Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Systems Engineer (Cloud) to join our team and play a pivotal role in deploying and managing mission-critical application infrastructure on AWS. In this role, you’ll ensure the resilience, security, and scalability of cloud-based applications while working closely with development teams to deliver seamless deployments. You’ll also provide technical expertise and architectural documentation to clients, confidently addressing their security needs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting highly available, secure, and scalable applications and infrastructure on AWS compute and storage platforms.
• Managing deployments into client environments while identifying opportunities to reduce cost and risk.
• Establishing and maintaining monitoring solutions (CloudWatch logs & events).
• Partnering with development teams on application builds, CI / CD pipelines, and deployments.
• Collaborating with AWS technical resources to apply best practices.
• Migrating Linux and Windows-based applications into AWS.
• Overseeing AWS application licensing, billing, and service breakdowns.
