Job Details :

Major Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Develop a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with operational excellence objectives and business needs.
  • Establish a structured competency development roadmap for production, quality, and maintenance teams. Define training KPIs and success metrics to measure effectiveness and impact.
  • Develop and implement engagement programs to enhance workforce participation in training and continuous learning.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices to continuously refine and improve training programs.
  • Oversee the execution of process, quality, and maintenance (CILT) training programs .
  • Ensure all training initiatives meet regulatory requirements, safety standards, and operational needs .
  • Work closely with Training Executives and Specialists to ensure effective delivery of training sessions. Identify and implement digital learning tools or e-learning platforms to support training delivery.
  • Monitor skill development progress and adjust training plans accordingly.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Work Instructions (WI) and Working Guidelines for all products and processes.
  • Ensure WI are standardized, regularly updated, and aligned with operational best practices .
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to ensure training content remains relevant and effective.
  • Establish and oversee shopfloor audit processes to ensure employees follow trained procedures, WI, and guidelines .
  • Analyze audit results and implement corrective action plans where needed. Develop a feedback mechanism to ensure training translates into improved operational performance.
  • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a learning culture.
  • Drive recognition programs to encourage continuous learning and participation .
  • Work with HR and department heads to integrate career development pathways within training programs.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and HR teams to identify training needs.
  • Engage with external training providers, industry experts, and regulatory bodies to bring in advanced learning programs.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Training Executives and Specialists , ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on training outcomes, audit results, and engagement program success .
  • Continuously improve training content, methodologies, and engagement initiatives based on feedback and industry advancements. Perform other department related tasks as requested by superior.

Qualifications / EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Training, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years experience in training & development, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience in leading engagement initiatives and cultural transformation programs is highly preferred
