With strong innovation and customer focus, the company is now seeking a Head of Division - General Industries to lead and grow its non-Oil & Gas business segment in Malaysia.As the Head of Division - General Industries, you will lead a team of sales professionals to drive business growth, develop new markets, and build strong relationships with key accounts. This leadership role combines business development, strategic planning, and team management, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth in the industrial sector.

About Our Client

Job Description

Lead and manage a sales team of 7, ensuring yearly order intake and sales targets are achieved.

Develop and implement business development and marketing activities for non-Oil & Gas industries.

Identify new opportunities for products, services, and market segments, positioning the company's solutions effectively.

Drive key account management, ensuring strong client relationships and long-term partnerships.

Negotiate commercial terms and contracts for major projects.

Collaborate with management to design and execute a business roadmap for target markets.

Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and regular performance reports to senior leadership.

Deliver technical and product support to customers in Malaysia, bridging their needs with the company's solutions.

Represent the company in client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Inspire, coach, and develop the sales team to achieve high performance and professional growth.

The Successful Applicant

Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control or related field preferred).

At least 7 years of experience in sales, business development, or management within the process instrumentation or industrial automation sector.

Strong knowledge of industrial markets and customer applications across multiple sectors.

Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage a sales team.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.

Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven with a "can-do" mindset.

Willingness to travel for business development and customer engagement.
