Overview

The AVP, Credit Admin position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage credit administration processes within the Property Development industry. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure efficient operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse billings, collections, loan documentation, and receivables to ensure alignment with project cash flow and budgets.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify collection delays and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain credit control dashboards and prepare financial reports for management and the Board.
  • Ensure timely collections and compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Housing Development Act and Bank Negara guidelines.
  • Coordinate with purchasers, lawyers, bankers, and financial institutions to manage loan disbursements and funding needs.
  • Manage sales administration processes including SPA execution, loan arrangements, and after-sales matters, while keeping accurate transaction records.
  • Prepare regular status reports and promptly address purchaser enquiries and complaints.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth credit control and sales administration.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members to maintain operational efficiency and confidentiality.
  • Implement company policies, procedures, and undertake additional duties as assigned to support overall project success.

Profile

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience : Minimum of five (5) years handling Housing Development Act (HDA) documentation, progressive billing, and loan disbursement procedures.
  • Well-versed in property development systems and financial reporting software.
  • Demonstrated success in managing collections, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of project financing structures, funding strategies, and risk management.
