Job description

Inline with our expansion plans, we are recruiting like-minded individuals to join our team of dedicated educators.

Job Scope

  • The location of our pre-school is in USJ 1, Subang Jaya
  • This position is for teaching in both English AND Mandarin languages
  • Plan programs that help each student achieve learning objectives and curriculum goals.
  • Prepare lesson materials and resources.
  • Select and use instructional methods and materials appropriate to the students and learning activities.
  • Create a positive and appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
  • Adapt standard teaching methods to meet different student needs and interests.
  • Observe, evaluate and record children's social and academic progress. Assist in guiding children's behavior and management. And provide constructive feedback to parents, guardians and administration.
  • Assist with all indoor / outdoor physical activities.
  • Assist in transitioning in classroom (washing hands, toileting duties, potty training, meals / snacks, playtime, clothes-changing, clean-up, etc)
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitized and clean environment.
  • Uphold the school code of conduct and all school policies, rules and procedures in a supportive and positive manner.
  • Perform other related administrative duties including attending staff meetings.

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Teacher Certificate or other Teacher Accreditation courses and certification are required if the applicant's diploma is not in Education.
  • Experience in Montessori will be an added advantage.
  • Must be able to work FULL DAY.
  • Required language(s) :
  • Mandarin (priority for teaching Mandarin classes), English.
  • At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Salary is negotiable depending on experience and competency
  • Must be able to handle the children with patience, love and care.
  • The successful candidates must be able to maintain confidentiality, have a welcoming personality, have strong collaboration skills, be able to multi-task, and be able to maintain composure in a stressful situation.
