Our client "CHINA STATE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING (M) SDN BHD" is seeking a Technical Engineer (Tender) to join their team

What you'll be doing?

  • Site Analysis : Conduct site visits to gain firsthand understanding of construction conditions and project requirements.
  • Tender Documentation : Study and analyze tender documents and drawings, preparing clarification materials to ensure comprehensive project understanding.
  • Technical Proposal Development : Create compelling technical proposals and presentations, managing the review and revision process to meet critical deadlines.
  • Cost Estimation : Collaborate with the costing team to calculate preliminary construction expenses, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.
  • Tender Compliance : Review, process, and manage documents related to tender clauses, ensuring all submissions meet regulatory requirements.
  • Pre-Tender Support : Provide valuable technical expertise to the Business Development Department during the project pre-tender stage.
  • Versatile Contribution : Take on additional tasks as assigned by your manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Who are they looking for?

  • Industry Experience : Ideally, you have 2 years of experience in tendering or technical positions. However, candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply, as we value fresh perspectives and enthusiasm.
  • Local Knowledge : Familiarity with Malaysian construction methods and regulatory documents is beneficial for navigating local industry standards.
  • Technical Proficiency : Ability to independently prepare site leveling plans, project schedules, resource allocation, and construction arrangements.
  • Software Skills : Proficiency in Project, AutoCAD, Office, Revit, and other relevant software to efficiently manage technical aspects of the role.
  • Language Skills : Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English is essential for effective communication with diverse clients and stakeholders.
