Job descriptionDiploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance. 1–2 years working experience (internship acceptable), or Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in full-set accounting with a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.). Basic knowledge of Malaysia SST and accounting standards. Familiar with accounting software (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Excel & accounting systems. Responsible, detail‑oriented, and willing to learn. Able to manage junior staff and take initiative. Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory requirements; experience with SST, income tax, audit process.
Responsibilities
- Assist in handling full-set accounts (AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation).
- Help with monthly closing and basic financial reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documents.
- Support audit preparation and SST submission.
- Work closely with Senior Accountant and Finance Manager.
- Independently manage full-set accounts.
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
- Prepare full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Handle SST reporting, tax computation, and compliance.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and LHDN.
- Supervise junior team members.
