Role Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Radiographer nationwide . We are looking to fill in the radiographer roles all over Malaysia. A Radiographer is responsible for using advanced imaging techniques such as X-rays, CT scans and MRI scans to take images of the body. The images are used by doctors and specialists to diagnose, monitor and treat various medical conditions. As a Radiographer, you will work with various healthcare professionals and patients, and must have a solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• To carry out all imaging procedures and produce quality images of diagnostic value with minimal radiation to patients and staff
• Follow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect
• Explain to patients and their family the details of a procedure and ways to manage possible side effects
• Perform general radiography and specialized imaging when trained
• Maintain proper record and filing with ensuring confidentiality
• Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment, with proper recording / filing
• To ensure room temperature / storage condition required for different imaging equipment
• Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process
• Participate in quality improvement projects of the department and hospital
• Assist in administrative tasks when required
