Overview

Logistic supervisor - Linehaul, SPX Express (Bukit Raja Selatan, Shah Alam)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate inbound (transfer from other sortation facilities and outbound of parcels), manage arrival & departure times of linehaul vehicles, optimize truck capacity, and route plan for drivers to meet the ADT (Average Delivery Time) KPI
  • Manage, brief and train the ground team to ensure operation execution follows SOP
  • Execute linehaul plans according to the set schedules and maximize capacity to ensure all deliveries are fast and on time according to the SLA
  • Manage all vendor drivers and in-source drivers according to KPI
  • Develop ad-hoc plans to support peak volume (e.g., pay day or campaign day)
  • Investigate linehaul delays or accidents and develop contingency plans to ensure on-time load delivery in the event of an enroute breakdown or accident
  • Manage and lead bay coordinators to monitor truck loading efficiency and compliance
  • Coordinate with sortation facilities to ensure sufficient manpower for linehaul loading according to the linehaul schedule
  • Understand the sorting process and pattern for better linehaul schedule planning

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma preferred
  • 3-5 years of working experience in linehaul field or logistic transportation
  • Experience in transport, supply chain and logistics management
  • Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Quick learning, adaptive and flexible
  • Committed, results oriented, willing to go extra miles for goal achievement
  • Like challenging goals and dynamic yet fun working environment
  • Working pattern : 45 hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required (up to 6 working days)
