Project Engineer
Responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. Prefer to be able to communicate well in Mandarin.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, manage, supervise, and plan all construction works at site with reference to work program and contingency plan.
- Overall responsibility for project supervision & management.
- Demonstrate excellent labour management skills, follow policies, procedures, and work practices, and develop improvements where necessary.
- Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and contractors to ensure regulatory compliance and approvals.
- Review technical drawings and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial objectives are met.
- Prepare site daily reports and relevant reports assigned by Project Manager.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and delays minimized.
- Any ad‑hoc assignments by management.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Architectural, Civil & Structural or Mechanical & Electrical field.At least 3–5 years of working experience in a related field, preferably in high‑rise construction.Experience with the technical authorities’ process, guidelines, and implementation is an advantage.Familiarity with government liaison processes and documentation handling.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in paperwork and project tracking.Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross‑functional teams.Job Details
