This is a planning-focused role within the Supply Chain function, where you will be overseeing production planning, material flow, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination to support business continuity. The role requires strong system thinking, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement mindset to elevate the planning framework in alignment with business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning functions including supply planning, production scheduling, inventory control, and logistics coordination
- Drive process improvements by establishing systems such as MPS, MRP, JIT, and digitization initiatives for planning efficiency
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement to improve OTIF delivery and execution reliability
- Develop SOPs and action plans to standardize processes in line with industry best practices
- Optimize inventory across raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods while addressing slow-moving items
- Build dynamic replenishment models balancing cost, lead time, and quality requirements
- Champion planning automation through ERP tools and data systems
- Mentor and coach the planning team to drive individual and departmental KPIs
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or related degreeMinimum of 8 years’ experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail, and hands-on experience with ERP or planning toolsExcellent leadership and communication skillsExperience in managing planning processes with cross-functional teamsAble to handle multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentFull-time on-site role based in Sitiawan, PerakWhat’s on offer
