Overview
The Brasserie is an award-winning fine dining restaurant in Grand Cayman, known for its farm-to-table cuisine. Adjacent to the restaurant are a bistro-style market, coffee shop, juice bar, and open-air BBQ grill.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve salads, sandwiches, and hot foods for dine-in or takeout.
- Greet customers, take orders, provide menu information, and recommend daily specials.
- Replenish the salad bar, sandwich bar, and hot bar as needed.
- Portion, package, and wrap food items.
- Assist the kitchen with ingredient preparation and other tasks as needed.
- Sanitize and clean work areas, dishes, equipment, and utensils.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and customers.
- Handle cash and card payments and balance daily sales.
- Serve guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness in the Front of House at all times.
- Stay knowledgeable about all menu items and daily specials.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Follow instructions and established procedures accurately.
- Keep the workspace organized and manage tasks efficiently.
- Display energy, enthusiasm, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar environment.Ability to prepare and serve a variety of food items, including salads, sandwiches, and hot foods.Knowledge of food safety standards and the ability to maintain cleanliness in work areas.Clear and respectful communication skills when interacting with customers and coworkers.Ability to handle cash and card payments, as well as balance daily sales.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.#J-18808-Ljbffr
