Overview

Job Category Healthcare - Nurse / Medical Support & Assistant

Location Petaling Jaya, Selangor, MALAYSIA

Salary MYR 2,900 - MYR 4,850

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment

Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.

  • Identify functional limitations that affect daily living and work activities.
  • Therapy Planning & Implementation

    • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.

  • Conduct therapy sessions to help patients improve independence in daily activities (self-care, mobility, work skills).
  • Patient & Caregiver Education

    • Educate patients and families on therapy goals, techniques, and use of adaptive equipment.

  • Provide guidance for home-based rehabilitation and lifestyle adjustments.
  • Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and patient records.

  • Update the healthcare team on patient progress and recommend adjustments to treatment.
  • Compliance & Safety

    • Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and Ministry of Health regulations.

  • Ensure safe practice during therapy, including proper use of equipment and infection control measures.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
