Geriatric Psychiatrist

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Geriatric Psychiatrist located in WP Kuala Lumpur at Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat mental health conditions in elderly patients

Provide psychiatric care and develop treatment plans

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team and conduct assessments

Prescribe medications and offer therapy to address psychological and neuropsychiatric conditions

Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions

Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care

Qualifications Expertise in Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care

Strong background in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry

Medical degree and relevant certifications

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Experience in geriatric medicine is a plus

Commitment to continuing professional development
