Senior Process Engineer

Position Overview

The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and optimizing process engineering deliverables to support the design, construction, and operation of offshore oil and gas facilities, including FPSOs. The role involves leading process studies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical expertise across all project phases from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee process engineering activities for assigned scopes in accordance with project requirements, schedules, and budget.
• Develop process simulations, calculations, heat & material balances, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
• Prepare and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process datasheets, equipment specifications, and operating manuals.
• Ensure designs meet safety, operability, reliability, and environmental standards, including HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessments.
• Support the preparation of technical requisitions and review vendor documents for major process equipment.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, integration, commissioning, and start-up.
• Mentor and guide junior process engineers, ensuring knowledge sharing and technical development.
• Interface with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Safety, Marine) to ensure alignment of process design with overall project execution.
• Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices, applying them to engineering work.

Qualifications & Experience

8–12 years of relevant experience

in process engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry (FPSO experience highly desirable).
