Job description

Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and complete external audit engagements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) or relevant local standards.

Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Identify audit findings, risks, and recommendations for process improvement to present to clients.

Ensure timely completion of audit assignments within agreed timelines and budgets.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in auditing standards and regulatory frameworks.

Accounting Responsibilities

Oversee preparation and review of financial statements for clients in compliance with IFRS and / or local GAAP.

Supervise the provision of outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services to clients.

Assist clients with year‑end closing, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting.

Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and standards implementation.

Manage all aspects of the accounting service, from quotation negotiation to report issue.

Experience in tax return filing, tax consulting, client advisory, and team training on tax matters is a plus. Knowledge of preparing transfer pricing documentation and managing corporate and withholding tax filings is also beneficial.

Team Management

Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of auditors and accountants.

Allocate resources effectively across engagements to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Provide ongoing training, development, and performance evaluations to staff.

Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.

Review the work results of the team.

Complete client accounting & tax outsource work for multiple clients on time and with quality.

Client Relationship Management

Serve as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients.

Build and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high‑quality service and advice.

Understand clients’ business needs and identify opportunities for additional services.

Support partner(s) with proposals, billing, and client communications.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in accountancy.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards in Singapore will be more advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and excel under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English and Mandarin.
