Remote Video Interpreter - Mandarin

We are currently hiring Remote Video Interpreters to facilitate conversations between English speakers and Mandarin speakers across healthcare, insurance, and legal domains. This is a fully remote, hourly‑paid position that does not require prior experience just excellent language skills, a professional setup, and willingness to learn.

If you're passionate about helping people communicate clearly and accurately, and you're fluent in Mandarin and English, this opportunity may be for you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consecutive interpretation via video in English to Mandarin.
  • Interpret live conversations with accuracy, neutrality, and clarity.
  • Follow confidentiality protocols and ethical guidelines.
  • Adapt to various subject matters including healthcare, insurance, and legal terminology.
  • Attend virtual training and ongoing skill development sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Full‑time availability Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM EST.
  • Own a PC / Laptop with Intel i5 processor and minimum 8 GB RAM.
  • Noise‑cancelling headset and HD webcam.
  • Reliable, high‑speed internet connection.

    • Preferred but Not Required

  • Prior experience in interpreting, customer service, or call center environments.
  • Familiarity with medical, legal, or insurance terminology.
