About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join the dynamic team at ForPro Formwork Malaysia Sdn Bhd. In this full-time, office-based role in Puchong Jaya, Selangor, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and transactions, ensuring accurate and timely accounting processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as clients and suppliers
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Prepare monthly payroll for employees and workers

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role, preferably in a small to medium-sized enterprise
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficient in using accounting software such as SQL and Microsoft Office applications
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and regulations
