Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our tax services team provides advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. The Senior Associate will focus on validating clients’ compliance with tax laws and regulations, reviewing and analysing financial data, preparing and filing tax returns, and assisting businesses in meeting their obligations while minimising risks of non‑compliance.
Responsibilities
- Tax Compliance – Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax returns, including corporate income tax and other applicable taxes to the tax authorities.
- Tax Planning – Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise the company’s tax position, minimise tax liabilities, and manage risks.
- Advisory – Provide expert advice on tax implications for business transactions, mergers, acquisitions and new business ventures.
- Reporting – Prepare and review tax provision calculations for financial statements and ensure proper accounting for all tax‑related items.
- Regulatory Monitoring – Keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and assess the impact on the company’s tax position.
- Collaboration – Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal and business units, to ensure alignment on tax‑related matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and / or professional qualification.2–5 years of experience in corporate tax compliance, preferably within the Financial Services sector.Strong academic background.Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.Effective communication skills.Excellent team‑working skills.Self‑motivated with a strong sense of initiative.Good organisational and interpersonal skills.Awareness of potential risks and the ability to identify and address them effectively.Seniority level
