GU Shipping is an ambitious and fast-growing container shipping company on a mission to reshape regional trade and logistics. Backed by strong industry experience and an entrepreneurial spirit, we provide reliable, cost-effective shipping solutions to freight forwarders, shippers, and logistics partners. As we scale, we are looking for a driven Sales Manager to lead our commercial expansion.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
Identify and secure new customers, trade lanes and routes.
Manage the full sales cycle including prospecting, proposals, negotiations and closing.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with freight forwarders, shippers, NVOCCs and key accounts.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence.
Collaborate with operations, finance and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support marketing initiatives, digital campaigns and brand-building activities.
Recruit, train and manage a high-performing sales team as the business expands.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of sales experience in container shipping, NVOCC, freight forwarding or logistics.
Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Demonstrated track record of exceeding revenue targets and successfully acquiring new business.
