Human Resource Supervisor (Training and Development)
The HR Supervisor – Training & Development is responsible for identifying training needs, designing and implementing effective learning programs, and ensuring continuous employee development to enhance workforce capability and organizational performance. The role also supervises training operations and supports HR initiatives related to employee engagement, payroll, recruitment, talent development, and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Identify training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and consultation with department heads.
- Develop annual training plans aligned with business goals and employee competency requirements.
- Design, coordinate, and deliver internal and external training programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and prepare post-training reports.
- Maintain training records and track employee participation and performance improvement.
- Support leadership development, succession planning, and career progression programs.
Payroll Management
Assist in payroll and attendance system management.HR Administration
Manage training in logistics and record keeping.Ensure training policies and procedures comply with company standards and statutory requirements (e.g., HRD Corp / HRDF in Malaysia).Coordinate HRDC claim submissions and ensure proper documentation.Employee Engagement
Participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives.Organize employee development and motivation activities.Recruitment
Involvement in Operators Recruitment, on boarding and offboarding.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR or training & development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.Familiar with HRD Corp (HRDF) requirements and training claim processes (for Malaysia).Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.Strong analytical and planning abilities.Core Competencies
