We are looking for candidates located near our offices in the APAC region . Preferred location is Malaysia, Singapore, or Vietnam are also possible.

Tasks and responsibilities :

  • Specific planning and execution of Heavy Lift / OOG moves across all modes of transport & handling
  • Execution of tailor-made route, port & site surveys and feasibility studies
  • Issuing Stowage- and Lashing plans, trailer transport solutions, installation drawings as well as lifting and rigging plans using AutoCAD
  • Issuing the related Lashing calculations
  • Production of Technical Proposals and Method Statements
  • Provide subject matter expertise for onshore and offshore transport engineering tasks
  • Review and assessment of Stowage- and Lashing plans and related calculations from others
  • Supervision of cargo handling and transport activities, as well as maintenance of database
  • Maintaining qualified communication and build up professional relationship with dteq clients
  • Cultivating and supporting relationship within the deugro group companies
  • Visual interpretation of the entire cargo operations by means of AutoCAD and other applications
  • Reports to the Regional Technical Director
  • Works in many disciplinary fields with a wide range of heavy equipment

What you can contribute :

  • At least 3 years of experience as a transport engineer or in a similar role in the heavy transport industry
  • Good knowledge about actual applicable industry standards (e.g. DNV GL ST-N001)
  • Proficient in MS Office / 365, as well as working experience in AutoCAD
  • On-hands and proactive working attitude
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Team player mindset, organized and pro-active
  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Solution-driven way of working and ability to think outside the box
  • Ability to travel internationally, travel ratio about 25%
