Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Nurse (OT) to join our team at Kuantan Clinical Diagnostic Centre Sdn Bhd in Kuantan, Pahang. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in the operating theatre and recovery areas.

Responsibilities

Assisting surgeons during surgical procedures by ensuring the operating theatre is set up correctly and maintaining a sterile environment
Monitoring patients' vital signs and providing immediate care and intervention as needed
Administering medications, dressings, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians
Documenting patient care activities and maintaining accurate medical records
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
Providing post-operative care and monitoring patients in the recovery area
Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Qualifications

Registered nurse with a current practicing certificate

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Staff Nurse, preferably in an operating theatre or recovery room setting

Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and equipment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team

Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care
