Responsibilities

• Championing the category and product vision / purpose
• Manage the in-year delivery of the plan, ensuring the portfolio achieves pre-agreed objectives
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, from concept to launch
• Lead & develop the innovation pipeline for the next 3years
• Develop exit strategies for unsuccessful & current (non-sellable) products
• Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends.
• Work with Regional / Local teams for the local product sourcing & launch, integrating them into global assortments.
• Manage costings, simulations, commercial feasibility and work towards increasing gross profits of the category managed.
• Coordinate project timelines, resources, and teams to ensure timely and within-budget product launches.
• Create and police critical paths for all activities within development.
• Oversee the registration of products with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies across different markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
