Overview
Develop and modify 2D / 3D models using CAD software.
Generate and optimize CNC programs (G-code) using CAM software.
Apply GD&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy and design integrity.
Machine Setup & Operation
Translate CAD / CAM outputs into machine-ready programs.
Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines.
Perform adjustments, offsets, and tool changes to maintain accuracy.
Quality Control & Documentation
Inspect finished parts with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, profile projectors, etc.).
Ensure products meet technical drawings and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of programs, inspections, and production data.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Work closely with engineering and production teams to refine part designs.
Suggest improvements for machining processes, tooling, and cycle times.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
Job Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred).
Hands-on experience in CAD / CAM programming and CNC machining.
Familiarity with multi-axis CNC machines is an advantage.
Language : English & Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
Proficiency in CAD / CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam).
Strong understanding of G-code, machining processes, and tooling.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Skilled in precision measurement and quality inspection.
