Job description

Standard Job Responsibilities :

  • Prepare, cook, and present authentic Chinese dishes according to hotel standards.
  • Supervise and guide commis chefs and kitchen helpers in the section.
  • Ensure mise en place is prepared and ready for service.
  • Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation consistency in line with Chinese cuisine.
  • Monitor portion control, minimize wastage, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen section in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef regarding daily operations and requirements.
  • Assist in menu planning, new dish creation, and seasonal specials for Chinese cuisine.
  • Able to work split shift.
  • Uphold hotel policies, kitchen safety procedures, and HACCP standards.

Job Types : Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay : RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
