MON Co. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to work closely with a diverse team to develop the backend API layer powering our games.

What You Will Do
Participate in and contribute / lead technical design and discussions with peers and stakeholders to decide the best technical approaches to product problems.Write and test high-quality products or systems, utilizing your expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript (NestJS).Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure quality and outcomes, with a focus on performance optimization and backend security best practices.Set up and maintain the cloud infrastructure for your product and tools, using AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and ECS.Contribute to new and existing documentation and adapt content based on product / program updates and user feedback.Triage product or system issues and debug / track / resolve them by analyzing sources of issues and their impact on operations and quality. Use JIRA / Confluence for issue tracking and project documentation.Requirements / What You Will Bring
Experience and Expertise : At least 4 years in a software engineering role within a product or engineering-led team. Strong ability in JavaScript / TypeScript using NestJS.Database Technologies : Expertise in SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and proficiency in NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) for data handling and caching.Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps : Extensive experience with AWS, Docker for containerization, and CI / CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.Testing and Quality Assurance : Experience with Java testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito, and knowledge of integration testing frameworks.Security and Performance : Backend security best practices, OAuth, and performance tuning for scalability.Blockchain Technologies : Familiarity with Solidity, understanding of EVM-based chains, and knowledge of libraries like Web3.js or Ethers.js is advantageous.Professional Skills : Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and communicate trade-offs.Benefits
